An existing property, The Wilpena Pound Resort (pictured) in South Australia has joined Accor’s distribution network and will operate under a management agreement with Accor, effective immediately.

Sydney, 21 May 2015 Le Club Accorhotels has launched its largest ever points offer, designed to reward and recognise members that book and stay with an Accor hotel in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji, between now and 30 November, 2015.

 

Members who register and stay at a participating Accor hotel in Australia Pacific during the campaign period will automatically go in the draw to win one million Le Club Accorhotels points worth more than AU$25,000.

One month after International Women’s Day, Accor celebrates the success of its Women at Accor Generation  (WAAG) program, with news that another 20 women were put into Hotel Manager or General Manager positions in the last 12 months in Asia Pacific. Accor has confirmed its plan to reach 35% of women GMs by 2017 and 50% in the long-term.

Le Club Accorhotels was named Hotel Loyalty Program of the Year in Asia Pacific/Oceania/Middle East and took home the Program of the Year for Europe/Africa at this year’s Freddie Awards. Accor also won two other awards for Best Promotion for its “Receive up to €160 in Points” campaign in the same regions. This record haul of four gongs at what is considered the most prestigious consumer-generated awards program in loyalty firmly cements Le Club Accorhotels as the industry leader in hotel loyalty programs.

New hotel GM appointments announced for Accor Australia

Accor is pleased to announce the following general manager appointments within Australia’s largest network of hotels this month.

 

Craig Dodd has been appointed General Manager, Novotel Darwin. Craig first joined Accor in July 2008 at the Novotel Twin Waters Resort as Executive Assistant Manager, before acting in the role of General Manager at the All Seasons Mt Isa in June 2011. Craig was appointed to his most recent role as General Manager at Mount Lofty House (part of Accor’s MGallery Collection) in July 2011.
