This was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a hotel stay. My wife, infant daughter and I arrived (with admittedly humble expectations) to what we thought would be a family-friendly hotel. When we arrived we were told that the cot we had organised earlier, couldn’t be provided because it would be a fire evacuation hazard. Instead the receptionist suggested that our infant sleep on the floor. This was as she hurriedly sprayed insects that were climbing up her desk. Despite this, we settled-in, going to our room through the waft of marijuana smoke in the communal hallways of the “100% smoke free” hotel. Once dropping our bags at our room we thought about dinner. After quick trip to Woolworths, we returned to our room which was entirely devoid of any cutlery except a singular tea spoon. We walked down to the communal kitchen, to find it locked. When I queried this with the receptionist I was told, “Nah we don’t do cutlery”. So my entire family ate dinner with a singular tea-spoon. Also, the window facing a busy main road didn’t close and there are signs advertising $1700 fines to anyone who triggers a fire alarm by showering with the ensuite door open. All together, this place is a disaster and I wouldn’t stay here again even if it were free. 0/5 stars

We requested a disability room. No way was a wheelchair fitting in that room. It was nothing more than a box room. The bathroom was filthy. The floor was tacky, from lack of cleaning. On the wall by the toilet paper there was feces. The grouting needed a good steam clean. There was no pillowcase on one pillow. The ac remote was covered in some sort of debris. It was overall grubby. My husband was too weary from the journey, or else we would have gone elsewhere. We don't travel often because of his declining health. But have been a loyal customer in the past. This has certainly put doubts in any more.

I stay here a lot and only issues I have of late is getting someone to return your call. As I travel a lot for work I try to book in by phone a few days earlier. I leave message but no one get back to you You have to keep ringing until you get hold of someone
