Take in the views of Sydney

There's nothing quite like sharing a moment with your significant other in the midst of gorgeous scenery. A view can make an experience all the more beautiful and romantic, so heading to one of the gorgeous scenic locations around Sydney is a great way to complete a couples' getaway. Not only will the view take your breath away once you reach it, but getting there is just as fun as the sightseeing itself. Here are some of the best vantage points to base yourself for some loved-up sightseeing:

Pylon Lookout

For a birds' eye view of the gorgeous Sydney Harbour, there's no better vantage point than the Pylon Lookout, located in the South East Pylon of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. There's a small charge to the visit, but climbing to 87 metres above sea level makes it all worth it. Discover incredible views of the city and its surrounds. It's the perfect place to share a sweet kiss!

Mrs Macquarie's Point

This fabulous vantage point is a popular spot for viewing new year fireworks, but it provides great views all year round. The point is located near the Royal Botanical Gardens and just seven minutes drive from Circular Quay. The famous stone 'chair' was carved out of a rock ledge for Governor Lachlan Macquarie's wife to enjoy the views. Once you're there, you'll experience gorgeous views of the harbour, including the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Kirribilli House, Pinchgut Island, and the Navy dockyards at Wooloomooloo

Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk

This popular 6 km coastal walk is perfect for those looking for stunning views of the Aussie coastline. Start your walk at Bondi Icebergs, and head towards Tamarama. Catch a glimpse of popular surf beach Mackenzie's Point Beach, and continue on to Bronte Beach. You'll get picture-perfect views along most of the level walking track, however once you reach Bronte Beach, you're really in for a treat. Climb the steep staircase to the cliff-top board walk, where you'll be treated to a glorious outlook over the sands and sparkling blue waters of Tamarama and Bronte. Your view will stretch to the Malabar Headland in the south and Bondi Beach in the north.
