  • If you are on a budget this a good choice near Liverpool
I have been to this hotel twice, good budget rooms, but if you have a couple get the better two rooms apartments, they have nicer feel to it. Rooms on the street can be a bit noisy, specially if you want to sleep till late.
  • Not as good as expecting
Stayed here recently for over 1 week. The price of over $160 made my expectations quite high and whilst there was nothing really terrible about the place it's the little things which count. Firstly the staff behind reception were all excellent, very friendly and helpful. If you get a room closer to the petrol station next door, good luck sleeping as there's just constant highway noise especially trucks driving past at all hours. The Saturday night I was there I could hear many cars drag racing along the street infront. The rooms itself were nice but the noise just wrecks it. Meals were ok. Breakfast is just a really basic buffet, I've stayed at ibis before and the breakfasts usually have some sort of danishes and pastries, this had none of that. Dinner on selected nights there are specials, the pasta and pizza nights on Thursday was interesting. I wanted the carbonara pasta but instead of bacon i prefer chicken. It's what I thought would be pretty simple request. The waiter informed me there might be a slight charge to change it, I asked how much thinking maybe a couple of dollars. He went to ask the chef who obviously didn't want to make any effort to do it, the waiter came back saying it will cost $5 to change it. Whilst i concede the specials are just that, the special of the day, surely it's not that hard to chop up some chicken instead of bacon? Unless the meals are all prepared and frozen prior to the night? I ended up having the lasagna which I will admit was delicious. Overall not a bad place, however for middle of an industrial type area and on the main hume highway the price is too expensive.
  • Handy spot on the Hume
This motel was fairly easy to find. Signage was good. There was plenty of parking. The man checking me in was a bit hard to convince i was who i really was though. The motel is fairly large and modern with nicely appointed rooms. Everything worked as it should and the bed was great. I had both dinner and breakfast there. The chicken caesar salad was one of the best ive ever had and breakfast was nice also. Checkout was fast and uneventful.
