- LocationGood location, 10 minute walk to Circular Quay, opposite Wynyard train station, easy walk across to Darling Harbour and Casino. As for the room, comfy… King Bed, tv didn't work well on all a channels, no in-room safe, no drawers to put your clothes. Website said it has an indoor pool and gym, however you have to go down to the ground floor and walk through the lobby to get to it, so after you've finished your swim and your in your wet bathers with a towel wrapped around you this is not where you want to be standing waiting for the elevator.
- Super locationLocated within a short walk from the harbor and everything else in the CBD. Across the street from the Wynyard Train Station, you can come directly there… from the airport by train. It's also a short walk to the Sydney Tower and the Westfield Mall. The staff were friendly and gave superb service. The One Four Restaurant on site served excellent food at reasonable prices. The hotel has a gym and a swimming pool as well. The rooms weren't huge, but why would you stay inside when you can walk around Sydney?
- A very good location hotel but badly need renovation! We stayed in this hotel for the Anzac weekend to watch the Anzac Parade. Location is just perfect for our purpose: This hotel location is just across the… road from Wynyard Station and about 5 mins walk to Martin Place. There are lot of restaurants and bars within walking distance around The Rocks. My fist impression of this hotel is very good - it is an old and grand hotel, and the staff was very friendly and greeted us with a smile. The front desk even allowed us to check in early and "upgrade" our room to a higher executive level which is in level 14, I’m not sure if all upgrade room is the same, ours is small, the carpet was with a lot of stain and torn around the edge. The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable, I was very angry with myself NOT brought in my own pillow as my partners suggested. I never stayed in a city hotel with a mounted square shaped TV in the size of laptop, the viewing ratio was so strange and the resolution was so poor that I could not tell what was on. The wall in between room was also very thin, I could hear next door conversation and when they went to bathroom. I think to renovate this hotel shall not be too hard by changing the mattress and pillow or carpet. Maybe the starting point is to even hanging a picture on the wall which is none in the room that we stayed.
