- If only the bed was better!Hard to find a better location, right on Hastings street you walk out the door and directly onto the street for access to cafes, restraints, boutiques… and of course, Main Beach. Rooms were very spacious and well-maintained and service was brilliant. Pool and swim-up bar also lovely. The only down-side was the bed, which we guessed was past it's use-by date. No support left us with back aches after three nights and if either of us moved slightly it sent the bed rocking and bouncing enough to wake the other. We were sad to end our holiday but relieved to move on to a decent bed and a better night's sleep.
- Not up to Sofitel standardSofitel Noosa has great potential, fantastic location, big spacious, clean rooms with a mini kitchen, lovely staff, but for us, too many things did not… make this a 5 star experience. Our room came with breakfast, but every morning of our 5 night stay we had an issue at breakfast reception, our shower water poured out all over the bathroom floor, our bed was not a delightful Sofitel bed, it was old and uncomfortable, we waited a hour and 15 minutes to get a snack at the pool, but worst was the $25 slap in the face for parking, this Hotel is not in a big city, there is no reason to have to pay for parking, that's just rude.
- Very impressed start to finishRecently spent 4 days and nights here for our annual sales conference. I've been meaning to stay here for years with business or pleasure and now that… I've finally been here, I will definitely be back. Firstly, in regards to the work and conference experience. Straight up, the staff were outstanding all the way through. From the pleasant greeting at check to room service to all conference support staff. They were first class, so thanks and very well done. Food for all events was good. Our gala dinner poolside seafood buffet was amazing. Highlight. I regards to the rooms, I was fortunate to be upgraded to an extremely large suite which was very very nice. Pitty I was working... The location of the resort is pole position for everything. 2 mins to beast beach in Oz, or the main Hastings street for all amenities. Great bar and restaurant on Hastings street frontage. Fantastic range on beers icy cold on tap. The resort pool is a highlight. I will certainly be back to watch the world go by for a few days that's for sure. Overall, very very impressed. I look forward to bringing my family along for a four to five day break one day soon. Hope this helps! Cheers G
