- Nice Hotel .... Central location. We spent three nights at this Hotel. Booked via our Accor membership card. Check in very quick. Basically just pick up key cards and ready to go. Quickest… check in ever in any hotel. Well done. Very polite and friendly. Check out even quicker. Phone call to front desk that we were leaving and drop key cards into box on exiting car park. Simple. Room was large with all the expected bits and pieces in very good clean condition. Only a double bed in main bedroom. We are used to a king so found it restrictive. Plenty of room for a king. Washing machine and dryer would be handy if staying longer. Great kitchen with all the modern cons. Wide screen TVs in lounge and bedroom. Large walk in wardrobe and clean modern bathroom. Great balcony with view of the beach and pool area. Bit cold for the pool when we stayed however looks great. There are no hotel fun restaurants in the hotel so you use your kitchen or visit one of the close by restaurants. There is also a Maccas next door if you must stoop that low. Great Thai place just around the corner and cheap as well. We lost one of our key cards and they replaced it in a flash without any issues. Free car parking is a big plus also. The only downer for us was that we wanted Wi-Fi and we were guaranteed we could have what appears to be the only modem for the whole hotel. That was fine however it was useless and not worth using. Hard to log on and when we did so slow you wouldn't use it. Big fail for us and it's time they got themselves out of the dark ages. Won't stay again because of this issue. Could do with more cable TV channels as well. Not withstanding the couple of issues we had we would recommend staying here.
- Great spotThe expectation we had did not disappoint. The staff were friendly from time of booking right through to check out. A lovely note and a packet of beautiful… macadamia's awaited our arrival. The apartment was a great size, comfy lounge to sit on after a long day, great ocean views and close to some great restaurants. The bathroom was generous and the spa so relaxing, the bed was very comfortable and the sitcom worked well. I enjoyed a wonderful manicure and pedicure at the salon next to reception. 30% discount in your first visit too. It is a beautiful location and we would love to visit again.
- Central location and certainly good!We had to book at the last minute to attend, "The Aussies" - which are the Australian Surf Life Saving Titles. We usually stay at Mooloolabah when we visit… the Sunshine Coast, but we wanted to be between the water (ski paddling, board action, swims, ironman and surf boats) action and the sand action (sprints, runs and flags). The Maroochydore Sebel provided everything we needed - a great apartment which was clean and cleaned every third day, friendly and helpful staff as well as a few eateries in the plaza below (I'll review later.). Depending on the wind you can walk 5 minutes to Maroochydore Beach or in the other direction to Alex (Alexandra Headland) to find a wave on any given day. If you don't like waves, the Sebel Pool facility is clean and well serviced. Whilst I didn't find it an issue, it was interesting that there was no free internet at this facility, even for Accor customers!
