- small room good location no room serviceThe hotel was easy to get to from the airport using the public transport. Check in staff were friendly. The room was basic and small but the bed was soft… and comfortable. there was no mini bar items and no room service. But there is a small deli just over the road for anything you might need to buy. We paid extra for the premium room which i assume means you get a view. Our view from the second floor was basically some roofs of the building along the harbour. Although we could see the top half of the ferris wheel which looked very pretty when it was lit up at night. You definitely need to ask for a high floor. Breakfast was nice and plentiful, they had lovely home made donuts. The harbourside shopping complex is right outside the hotel, it is in fact, is one of the roofs that you can see. The maritime museum is very close and the ferry leaves from just outside the hotel. It is in a convenient location. And the locale is nice. Lots of building going up along the edges of the harbour but there didnt seem to be any noise from that and not a lot of inconvenience when walking around. I did like the hotel for its location, just a short interesting 25 minute ferry ride to circular quay. The vivid Sydney light show had a water and laser light show in the middle of the harbour which you could see by taking a short walk along the pedestrian bridge that adjoined the hotel, people with higher rooms could probably see it from their windows. The lack of room service was a big downer for us as was the view from the window room but it was still a hotel id probably try again but i'd definitely get a higher floor next time.
