  • Expensive and poor restaurant
The room was comfortable and spacious. The staff members at the front desk were friendly and helpful (especially Erica). The cleaning staff did a very good job. The pillows have served their lives and need immediate replacement. The iron needs replacement as water was dripping. The TV channels were basic. Closet was too small. Unable to use the mirror as the closet door can be opened only partially. The greatest disappointment was the restaurant. The buffet breakfast was pretty ordinary and every day the menu is same. The staff members at the restaurant are pretty laid-back and every day I had to remind them to replenish some of the missing food items. We ordered vegetarian pizza for dinner one night. The pizza was awful. I also felt the car park charge of $22.00 per night is expensive. I got free wifi, as I was a member of Accor Hotels. If you are planning to stay here, have your breakfast at East End Hub, which is next door to Novotel.
  • Great hotel and location
We stayed for Live at the Foreshore. This hotel was an easy walk to and from the concert. The room was spacious, clean and nice. Had a great view of the harbour. We ordered room service, food was good. Breakfast the next morning was lovely. I'd stay again.
  • Weekend family break
This was a weekend break for a family occasion. The service and assistance provided by the staff was excellent. This was especially so in the case of the dinning / restaurant staff – were nothing was too much trouble especially when catering for a 96 year old. The rooms whilst your standard hotel room (slightly larger) were clean and well presented. The room maid, if one can call her that, was perceptive and quickly adapted to having a 96 year old occupant – well done.
