  • Helpful friendly but noisy location
I was in a quick overnight stay for work. I was told I had been given a room upgrade which sounded wonderful. I wonder how small the standard rooms are if mine was an upgrade. The bed was a king: comprising of two singles pushed together. There was a 3rd single in one corner. I do not know if the paper thin walls were letting in other guest noise or staff access area noise. The bed linen was modern & fresh as was the bathroom. The rest of the room was a bit tired. The tiny bathroom did hold one piece of magic: a shower that had excellent water pressure and quick hot water. This redeeming feature softened how I felt about my overall experience. I drove to the hotel: bad idea. Only valet parking is an option unless you want to park in a public carpark: to be fair they are close by. The hotel is in a busy, noisy lane way. There was roadworks all around at the time of my visit. However the room was cheap for inner city Melb.
  • Very Good Loaction
Staid for 4 night, Staff very very good, room was modern, clean and tidy, and breakfast deal for $20-00 for full breakfast buffet was exceptional. Building was in the process for being renovated, but apart from some plastic protection on the floor and seeing a couple of tradies, no other visible sign or noise
  • Excellent!
For a 3 star accomodation this place is wonderful. I had a concern I needed to call about prior to check-in, and the service I received on the phone was friendly and helpful. When we checked in, the consierge was prompt and curteous and very helpful with things to do around Melbourne, as this was our first trip. Due to flight schedules, we checked out earlier than our flight, however we were able to store our luggage at the Mecure Welcome and retire later to collect it. We stayed in a studio type room, with 2 single beds. The bathroom, while very small, has recently been renovated and looks very stylish. The room had a small bar fridge, glasses, tea and coffee facilities. There was also an iron and Irving board, which comes in very handy after long travels. The location is central Melbourne, with easy access to all the trams to get you where ever you want to go. I will definitely be booking into here again.
