  • quick over night for birthday party in city
Have stayed at this hotel several times now. Ideal location for quick get away to eastern or Monash freeway next morning as we have found. Dinned downstairs and was amazed!!! Asian influence and shared amongst four, was fantastic!! Staff there are great also very professional and happy to assist. The French martini was a big hit with the girls!!
  • Convenient location
The room was adequate however the shower consistently overflowed into the bathroom. The bar at the hotel was not really up to par with staff who did not know much about drinks. The post mix was flat and when I asked for another G and T because of the flat tonic they said they will do something about the gas. After 10 minute wait I got another drink no better so I just left it about $10.00 wasted.
  • Good Hotel with easy access to Melbourne's attractions
Stayed here for 2 nights in a twin room. Hotel is well placed in Spring St with trams down Collins St & Flinders St about a minutes walk. There is a small hill but we used the Collins st trams and it is a downhill walk to hotel from city and we used Flinders St trams to go to city and this is also downhill. Dinner at hotel was good but not a lot of menu choices. Hotel across the road from the gardens and Captain Cooks Cottage . Staff friendly and helpful, beds comfy - we had 2 queen beds in twin room. Rooms clean and well appointed. Our room overlooked Fitzroy Gardens.
