- You get what you have paid!Location is great. It's close to the shops, big banana, sealy lookout, etc. The room is pretty cheap, the bed is hard, the doona is the worst doona I have… ever used in my life - it looked like it has been played by a dog cause the white fluffy stuff inside the doona is coming off at the edges and they just used a top sheet to cover it up. It looks yucky! The standard room for 2 is very small and you can hear the staffs talking at night time. We were awaken at 11:30 PM because some of the staffs were dragging something outside, I think it was a table, and they were chatting super loudly.
- BudgetLike other reviewers have said, this is a budget property and there is nothing wrong with that if you know what to expect. Small and clean rooms. Helpful… check in staff. Location around the corner from Woolworths but not much else in terms of restaurants or cafes. Breakfast didn't seem great - cold cereal and not much else I think. But it's clean and inexpensive so if you are on a budget, it is a good alternative. It is also right next door to a night club and you can hear most of the music from your room.
- Good, but not greatThe location is very good - very central with good access from the nearby highway and close to the CBD as well as a number of eateries. The room was fairly… much as expected; fairly tight in its dimensions but, as I was travelling alone, this was not an issue, even with an extra large bag of sporting clothes and equipment. My room was located at the western end of the building so there was no disturbance from the nearby highway nor from the adjacent hotel. Internal walls are not quite as soundproof. The biggest issue I had was with the bathroom. There was no hob to the shower (not itself a bad thing) but the water from the shower flooded all over the shower floor so there seemed to be an issue with the floor tile profile. Ultimately, I used a spare towel as a dam to stop water spreading so that I wasn't trudging through it all the time. Also, there was no toilet roll holder, just a the sign of where a holder had once been, and only a single, not-full roll of paper provided. Both of these were annoyances rather than major issues. Also, I was there for 5 nights and had to get my e-key re-set a couple of times when it wouldn't scan, which could be a potential problem late at night.
