The Novotel is truly in the heart of Canberra. Fantastic access to so many amazing restaurants and the shopping mall, the convenience is impeccable. My biggest concern was while the room was very clean and tidy the skirting boards were looking old, there was markings in the walls and it did not seem fresh and updated. It would be great to have the rooms be given some love and some small renovations to keep it up the the high standard it should be at.

Well located to city centre, close to evrything, great hotel, great amenities, nice pleasant staff.

I had a great experience, from the start with the lady at reception who was very pleasant, made sure I was aware of breakfast times and where, asked if I needed any other directions etc. breakfast was nice. All good, only problem was bar shutting abit early for myself and friends.

Tired of being overcharged and not having my requests replied to.

Last time I stayed I was over charged on food and again this time I have been overcharged on food. I have sent numerous emails and as yet, over a week later had no reply or review of the bill. I also received an email saying Ï hope you enjoyed your upgrade" when I did not receive an upgrade.

Whilst using the hair dryer I was electrocuted by a faulty lead. After ringing reception they sent an engineer up to swap out the hair dryer after some time. No assistants or helpfulness until some time after and to be only give free parking and same discount on food for a traumatic experience in front of my family.
