- Great hotel to see the sightsStayed 2 nights using Groupon Voucher. Requested room with view and high floor, and friendly check in staff allocated us a Large queen twin bedded room… on 15th floor with nice view of Brisbane River. Cranes are building towers next door but no noise and enjoyed seeing them lit up at night. Room larger than most hotel rooms with very comfortable beds, we slept very well. The hotel is in a great situation for visiting all tourist venues plus Roma St station. We used restaurant for breakfast, buffet good value for price. Fast check in and check out, friendly staff. Would stay again.
- Not badWe stayed their for two nights. My girlfriend asked for a good view and they did help us with that by providing a room worth the Brisbane river view on… the 20th floor. All the floors have different themes. Our room was nice and clean, the bed was comfortable but the bathrooms showers were really difficult to handle. The buffet breakfast was included with the booking but was not worth. It was ok. Could have been a better experience.
- Room is fine, Service is terribleStayed here for one night as we were flying from Townsville to London. Before I booked I e-mailed them to ask if I would have to pay a deposit at check-in,… as I don't want to have to bring extra cash or deal with holds being put on my card. They said no, they won't ask me for a deposit. So I booked. When we arrived there was a long check in line and the check in staff were nasty. I had paid in advance and they refused to let me check in until I gave them a $100 cash deposit (I don't have a credit card and they wouldn't take a debit card). I showed the guy the e-mail saying that I wouldn't be asked for a deposit and he said that no, I still had to pay it or else I would forfeit my booking and not be entitled to a refund. I told him I didn't have cash on me as I'm only here for one night and going to the UK tomorrow and don't want to be carrying AUD around with me. He wouldn't budge and In the end I had to go for a walk to find an ATM to withdraw money. Then when I came back I had to wait in line for another half an hour! Paying the deposit annoyed me, but the way this man spoke to me was just awful. He left me with a really bad impression of the hotel. Our room was fine for one night, nothing great though. Having 24 hour staff was useful considering we had to check out at 11am and leave at 9pm, so we were able to dump our bags for the day.
