- SURPRISEDThe Ibis Adelaide is in an excellent location. It is newly refurbished and the rooms a wow factor, modern, clean, spacious and light with a great view Bathroom… also fresh and new The check in process was slow due to the front desk being busy and not enough staff. Even though I am silver status it was no use . Dining staff attentive, dinner was fresh, beautifully presented, lovely dining area away from the bar and clean Beds are heaven and linen crisp Pity Ibis does not supply hand towels
- Good value for money, and close to most things. We came to Adelaide assuming we were staying out near the beach, but as we arrived we found that wasn't the case as we had booked incorrectly. We had booked… through a third party website and the photos were quite deceiving of the room size. We were booked in the Ibis Styling Suites, which was at the other side of the building so there was a fair walk from the lift to the room. Our room had most expected amenities, including a hot water jug, fridge with milk etc, however we did not have a toaster. The bathroom door was in fact a sliding door with gaps on each side, luckily we had already gotten to know each other to that extent it didn't really matter. The rooms were cleaned each day, and the bed was comfortable enough. There was only one side of entry into the bed, so only one side table could fit and one person had to climb up from the foot of the bed to get in. The air conditioning was quite loud, and not a lot of natural light but once again there was no noise from other guests with thick walls and big doors. Probably would stay again, but I think we might actually pick somewhere with a beach nearby, and a balcony with a view to see the city.
- Ibis AdelaideI stayed at the New Ibis for 3 nights, its new with good rooms, good location in the CBD. All staff helpful and friendly Parking was a little issue but… you can drop off your bags etc then go to the public car park, get your paid parking ticket from Ibis, its a lot cheaper than paying at the car park.
