- Fantastic location and comfortable roomWe stayed in January during a particularly hot period with a west facing room. We just kept the blind down and turned the air conditioning on and had… no problem at all. The room was a good size and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was great too with good pressure in the shower. Our room was really quiet so we would definitely recommend. The location is also fantastic. Not only did we have extreme heat, but we also managed to get in a couple of downpours. In any weather it was easy to leave the hotel on foot and find (relatively) covered access to the Mall, cafes, restaurants or shops. There is also the option of not leaving the hotel and dining in. Great place. Good staff.
- Pleasantly surprisedAlas, our air conditioner had gone on the blink whilst the weather was 40 degrees plus for the weekend. Desperate to catch some sleep over the weekend,… we booked the entry level room just so we could get some sleep to make up for none in the heat of the night before. The room was compact, but really well designed to maximise the small space. The built in bench-sofa, come bag rest, and full wall length bench-table, meant no shortage of spots for bags, reading the paper, and having an in room meal. The bed was comfy, the room clean, and the sheets were crisp and white. The bar fridge was conveniently empty (we had BYO'd), but not cold enough for the Adelaide summer. I expected 'budget' from the Ibis, but this Ibis was more than that, and I'd stay again should the comforts of home fail us. Congrats to staff and management, each team member we crossed paths with was friendly and greeted us warmly.
